We call it ‘building the roof’ but in reality we are currently trying to finish building the slab for the first floor which will, in time, become the base for the next floor. This is only the long section of the ‘L’ shaped building and once the concrete has set, the builders, men and women, will remove the cladding and supports and reuse them on the shorter section of the ‘L’ . This next floor will make an amazing difference to the capacity of the school by adding new classrooms, a dormitory and perhaps an infirmary. This will enable the school to rescue even more vulnerable children and give them a safe environment, food, an education and hope so thank you to everyone who is supporting us!
